加拿大移民局(Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada; IRCC) 近期宣布技術移民(Express Entry)職業類別改革，並表示擁有加拿大工作經驗並選擇Canadian Experience Class渠道的申請者，以及符合特定語言與職業類別(category-based)資格的申請者，將是2025年核發邀請申請資格(Invitations to Apply; ITAs)的重點對象。

根據加拿大移民局(Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada; IRCC) 官網資訊，目前語言與職業類別(category-based)，包括: 法文語言能力（French-language proficiency）、醫療保健和社會服務類職業（Healthcare and Social service occupations）、農業和農產品行業職業（Agriculture and agri-food occupations）、科學、技術、工程和數學（STEM）職業（Science, technology, engineering and math occupations）、技工類職業（Trades occupations）、教育類職業（Education occupations）。

為了填補當地勞動市場缺口，加拿大移民局(Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada; IRCC) 表示，符合法文語言能力（French-language proficiency）、醫療保健和社會服務類職業（Healthcare and Social service occupations）、技工類職業（Trades occupations），以及教育類職業（Education occupations）的特定語言與職業類別(category-based)申請者，將優先獲得技術移民(Express Entry)甄選資格。
