USCIS staff will continue to perform mission critical duties that do not involve contact with the public. However, USCIS will provide emergency services for limited situations. To schedule an emergency appointment contact the USCIS Contact Center.

The U.S. Department of State has updated its Global Travel Advisory Alert (https://travel.state.gov/…/travel-advisory-alert-global-lev…) to Level 4 – Do Not Travel. Additionally, American Citizens abroad are reporting that it is increasingly difficult to return to the United States given significant flight cancellations. The American Institute in Taiwan urges American citizens who plan to return to the United States to do so as soon as possible.
